False Threats of Infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,208,081 June 26, 2007 Monzi Customer Re: False Threats of Infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,208,081 Dear (Customer): We are writing to you regarding a potentially disturbing development in the gutter filter product industry. We have learned from customers like yourselves that Gutter Stuff, through one or more of its representatives including Bobby Jones, are making threats of the purported infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,208,081 by one or more Monzi gutter filter foam products. We are disturbed by these allegations of infringement, because these allegations are without merit. None of the gutter filter products being offered for sale by Monzi infringe any claim of the ‘081 patent. Further, we have reason to believe that the claims of that patent are invalid and unenforceable. Please be assured that we are taking steps to deal directly with Mr. Jones and Gutter Stuff and resolve this situation regarding these false accusations and intimidation tactics.
